Starving Arts Literary Magazine

M

agazine as freeverse poem. Movie as life. Language as intercourse. Stick it in us; let us snake it into you. We have no preference for the old or for the new. The world is strange and always has been. Language is a fire burning backwards. Art is a joke that's not a joke.

This magazine is half of Britain walking through the woods looking for their teeth. This magazine is not an art-fag band. It is a vast flamboyant prancing nightmare, a monday morning carpool cocktail party, a lazy ambition to find and feed the freshest and most innovative English language being written today, from both established authors and total wretched starving unknowns with angry growls in their syllables and lullabyes on their lips!

Starving Arts Literary Magazine is staffed entirely by volunteers. By making a small donation, you can help Starving Arts offer an honorarium to our contributors, sponsor contests and literary events, and continue to exist in our present state of imperturbable strangeness, ineffable glory, and implausible visibility.
